I feel that my relationship with my husband has improved greatly as a result of the counselling. 

Julie has helped me to understand more about my partner, to understand what upsets him and how I can change and work on myself. I have been able to see more clearly where my husband is coming from, understand more about what goes on inside his mind and how he feels. Importantly, there has been a neutral expert who can guide and advise us on how to improve our relationship. 

The counselling is excellent. What I like is that you don't take any sides - you see both perspectives, value them and help us both see value in each other’s perspectives where there is value and guide us without bias. I really appreciate that the counselling is done in such a positive spirit and that solutions are offered that are practical and helpful. I also like the personality enneagram approach and how it is weaved into the counselling. 

I am very happy with how it is going.

Ruth is great. We both really like going and it is definitely helping. Ruth is really great with my husband Sam. He likes her and he likes going, which is wonderful, as we tried counselling a while ago, and he clashed with the previous counsellor – badly.

Both my husband and I would say that our relationship has improved considerably thanks to counselling with Ann Marie. We would rate it a 9 out of 10.

It has been beneficial to have an objective and educated third party to identify the issues that have been causing conflict and to be provided with strategies to deal with these things in constructive ways.

The relationship between my husband and I has been greatly improved.  There is no longer any talk of divorce as a result of counselling with Gareth.
There has been a massive leap in my husband and I communicating as we now have a proper diagnosis (after 10 years of 'craziness').  

She has explained things to my husband in such a way that he actually listens and is starting to understand where I'm coming from and how we both speak different Love Languages.

How could it be improved for you?

Gareth has been brilliant. She has actually allowed us to see some light at the end of the tunnel for the first time in years.

Our relationship has improved substantially already since seeing Karen.
She has given us tools to communicate better. The respectful communication agreement has been very helpful and when we lose our way we have been able to refer back to our agreement. Also, understanding about our ‘learned behaviours’ has been very enlightening, it has helped us to become aware of why and who we are. Once you become aware of unhelpful learned behaviours it makes it a lot easier to make changes.

How could it be improved for you? We can’t think of any improvements.

Kathy has really improved our relationship greatly. It has now opened up lines of communication once again as we have been together 25 years, and has enabled me to forgive and move forward.

The sessions with Ann Marie were really eye opening & reassuring!

It got my husband Mark to open up and it made me see our issues from a different perspective. We used to argue all the time about everything, but when we were in the session, it was suggested I read the book "Why Women Talk, and Men Walk".  It has really helped me think before I speak, which has impacted the way we interact - for the better.

It was also reassuring to know that our issues are experienced by lots of people. 

I am really grateful that we went as it has been a positive turning point in our marriage!
